Managing drivers in your Fleet

You can manage your drivers via the ‘Drivers’ page in the Fleet Portal.

To add the driver yourself:

  1. Click the ‘Add driver’ button at the top of the screen
  2. Enter the driver’s personal details and click ‘Next
  3. Enter the driver’s licence details and click ‘Next
  4. Enter the driver’s claims and convictions history.
  5. Click ‘Add driver

To add multiple drivers at once:

  1. Click ‘Upload CSV’ at the top of the screen.
  2. Download and complete the .CSV template. Guidance on how to complete the template can be found here.
  3. After completing the template, save it and upload it to the Fleet Portal
  4. Click ‘Upload

To send the driver the form to fill out themselves:

  1. Click the ‘Self-onboarding’ button at the top of the screen.
  2. Enter the driver’s email address and click ‘Send’.
  3. This will then create a unique shareable URL where the driver can input their details. This link is sent automatically to the email provided and can also be accessed on the fleet portal via the driver page.


Once the driver submits the form, the underwriting checks will run and the driver's status will update to either approved or rejected.


Below is the email that the driver will receive, and the subsequent flow they will follow:



You can find the link to share again by going to the individual drivers page. If the driver hasn’t yet completed their information, then a message will show including the URL that can be copied.

To delete a driver using the portal:

  1. Go to the 'Drivers' section of the portal and click on the individual driver you want to remove
  2. Click ‘Remove’ in the top righthand side of the window

Note: It might take a few minutes to process the changes.
